I don't know why I bother continuing to put myself in situations where I know I am not wanted and will inevitably end up feeling shitty about it at the end.

Sometimes, things just really really suck.

Today was a good day.

I ran into two old friends who I hadn't seen in awhile, and actually had the time to have a semi in-depth discussion and catch up with them.

I also finally got the gift certificate from the contest I won... $150 to Best Buy.  Whoohoo. 

I was going to go out and be social tonight, but I left the directions in my office and couldn't find the bar!  Oh well.  Motorhead & COC @ BB Kings tomorrow night, should be a blast...

I am so itchy I can't stand it

Oh yea - since I know some family and friends-of-family types read this - do NOT mention the ink to my parents.  I'll show them when its done, but honestly it looks kinda crappy right now since its just outlines.

Thanks Thanks everyone who posted and emailed and all. Grandpa passed away Monday morning. He had been pretty out of it all weekend after going into respitory failure on Friday, but actually improved a bit and everyone was able to say their goodbyes.

I am glad I finally learned what was important and made some time for him before he was gone.

I'll miss him. I'll think of him whenever I catch myself twiddling my thumbs (which I picked up from him, somwhere along the way) and of course whenever I hear the pipes.

Blackberry = electronic leash.  I am about to throw this thing out the window.

So grandpa has pneumonia, again, and Friday night he went into respitory failure, and he all ready said he doesn't want to be put on life support.  They had the priest come in to give him last rites and everything, but somehow he pulled through it and stabilized.  Maybe he'll get past this and outlive us all.  He is 90, but there is nothing really wrong with him aside from just being old - he is mentally very sharp, and has only had one very minor heart attack. 

As is usual when I am upset, I clean, so now my apartment is in a state of gleaming perfection.

JWA is next weekend.  In spite of my wrestling anti-socialness lately, I am looking forward to seeing certain people.

I got a blackberry.  I am a slave to my job.

Lets thank whoever invented caller ID.  CJ called me this week.  I let it go to voicemail.  I wonder what he wanted.  Actually, I really don't care.

So, more doctors.  The good news is that nothing is really wrong with my kidneys.  The bad news is I am prone to kidney stones, apparently.  UGH.  I've been making sure to drink my 8 glasses of water a day.  They said to cut down on salt (which is ok, cause I don't use it, and I cook all the time so no processed foods) and acidic food (which I am allergic to anyhow)... but every time I get a little lower back twinge now I am worried.  Oh well.  At least I'll be able to take a few days off of work, guilt free (how sad is it I look forward to being sick or suffering painful conditions so I don't have to go to work).  Oh and I'm coming down with the flu too.  Terrific.

But, not to be a total negative nancy (hahaha negative nancy) Mr. Ding and I got Motorhead tickets today, and will be getting Misfits tickets tomorrow for Metal Weekend II Electric Boogaloo, with Misfits on Friday & Black Label Society on Saturday. 

Grandpa is back in the hospital.

Even though we only see each other at weddings now a days, and hardly ever talk, when we do get together it is always a good time.  I do sincerely enjoy her company, and how she can totally relate to my disdain of girly stupidity, like bridal showers ;)

I have so many great memories, of Denny's and other such craziness.  Even thought we have definitely gone our seperate ways over the years, she's someone who I definitely feel has always accepted me for me, and that is something I truely appreciate.

Its amazing how wonderful a good night's sleep is.

I feel 100 times better. Still a little tired, still a little cranky, but better. Things at work that would made me flip out a week ago just didn't get to me today. I was so productive too. I have 2 things left on my short term "to do" list (lets not speak about the big projects though...)

Well, if you read my myspace, grandpa is doing slightly better and has started eating again. This is probably the beginning of the end, but at least we will not have to decide if we want to put him on a feeding tube or not. If he gets a bit better, he might even be able to go home,

In other news, I finally went to the doctor and got my prescription for ambien and celexa. So we'll see how that works out, I guess. I am looking forward to not feeling so crazy all the time. And most of all to sleeping. I am so tired I can barely concentrate anymore.
